ABSTRACT: The number 12 on white background caught my eye. Next, the number 5 and I knew it is about the iPhone 5 without even looking at the small apple logo. Apple released an invitation to a news conference. This is only an invitation, but many people think this hints so many things. I am amazed by Apple’s smart sales strategies. The simple invitation makes people to think/imagine about what it is. It is almost like an easy pop quiz. It gives some sort of satisfaction who guessed it right. Apple’s emotional design and interactive design communicate well with consumers. Anne Balsamo from the Tuesday lecture said that iPhone is only an invention, not an innovation. “What should be done?” Isn’t this enough?
